House Rules
Dear holiday guests,
We have put a lot of thought into furnishing the apartments so you feel at home. When you return to your apartment after your "discovery trips" across the Salzkammergut, you should be able to recharge for the next day. So that the guests who follow you can also enjoy their apartment, we ask you to follow the house rules and leave the rooms and their furnishings in good order.
General
If you need help or something is missing in the apartment, please contact us. We do our best to handle your requests quickly. All items in the apartments and on the balcony may be used by guests during their stay, as long as they are treated with care.
Kitchen
Please treat the kitchen, the furnishings and the technical appliances with care.
- Towards the end of your stay, please put dishes, pots and cutlery clean and dry back into the cabinets.
- Place hot pots only on a trivet on the worktop or tables.
- Always use a cutting board when cutting.
- Leave the oven and microwave in a clean state; use baking paper in the oven.
Cleaning
We charge a one-time cleaning fee for the basic cleaning of the apartment. For cleaning during your stay you will find broom, dustpan, mop and bucket in the broom closet.
If something happens (such as extreme dirt on the floor, etc.), please clean it immediately. This also applies to the beds — you will find clean mattress protectors and bedding in the broom closet too.
Please simply leave dirty bedding or towels that you have swapped out in your apartment after your stay.
Waste disposal
In the kitchen there is a residual waste bin and an organic waste bin, and in the storage room a paper waste bin and a plastic waste bin. Please dispose of food remains in the organic waste bin, paper in the paper waste bin, plastic in the plastic waste bin and residual waste in the residual waste bin.
Please use the residual waste bins in the kitchen and the small bins in the bathroom only with a bin liner and dispose of these well-closed in the black residual waste bin. Please do not flush hygiene articles down the toilet — dispose of them in the small bathroom bin to avoid blockages.
Waste is sorted by paper (red), plastic and cans (yellow), glass, deposit containers (bottles and cans with the Austrian deposit symbol – empty and not crushed, please), plus residual waste (black) and organic waste (green). The bins are available on the property (at the cellar entrance next to the parking lot).
Quiet hours
So that holiday guests and residents get along well, we ask you to respect our quiet hours. These apply from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.. Please also avoid noise during the midday hour and on Sundays.
Smokers
Smoking is not allowed in the apartments. On the balcony, smoking is permitted as long as the provided ashtrays are used and fully cooled cigarette ends are disposed of in the residual waste bin. If you smoke in front of the building, please use the ashtray next to the entrance door.
Pets
Bringing pets is not permitted.
Internet / Wi-Fi
Free wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is available in all apartments, to which you can connect your Wi-Fi-capable devices. You use the internet at your own risk and the landlord excludes any liability in connection with the tenant's internet use.
Duty of care
We ask our guests to treat the rental property properly and to ensure that fellow travellers also comply with the rental conditions. The entrance door should always be closed. Windows should also be closed when leaving the apartment to avoid glass breakage from wind or possible water damage from storms. Please use water and electricity sparingly.
Damage
No-one damages things on purpose, but things can break occasionally. In that case, please let us know immediately — so we don't only discover the damage during the final clean after your departure.
Theft
All items (décor, cushions, equipment, etc.) in the apartments and common areas have been painstakingly collected, sewn and crafted. So that the same ambience is available to all guests, we carry out an inventory at every cleaning. Missing items will be reported immediately.
If you need souvenirs for home, various things can be purchased at the Kredenz in the lobby.
House rights
For repairs that need to happen immediately, it may be unavoidable that the landlord enters the apartment even without the guest's knowledge.
Liability
The landlord does not accept liability for valuables of the guest and their travel companions. A safe is available in every apartment.
Arrival and departure
Arrival can be from 4 p.m. at any time, thanks to keyless access also late in the evening. We ask you to vacate the apartment on the day of departure by 10 a.m. at the latest. Please leave the apartment as you found it.
By booking the apartment we assume that the house rules are accepted by the guest as set out here.
