Music and dance have an ancient tradition in Bad Goisern. Countless brass bands, dance groups and a renowned music school keep it alive — and with Hubert von Goisern the village has brought forth a world-class star.
This apartment is dedicated to the sound of the Salzkammergut. Notes, instruments and musical details accompany you through your stay — a guitar over the bed, a violin on the wall and sheet music in the kitchen and bedroom turn living here into a quiet concert.
And because the Hideaway is a house that has grown with character: the old timber-beam ceiling to the Summerfolk apartment below is cosy but not soundproof — sounds from the other apartment can be audible. If you book the whole Hideaway, you share the house with no one but your own people anyway.
The south-east balcony catches the morning sun with a view of the Ewige Wand — perfect for that first cup of coffee. The south-west balcony (17 m² with hanging chair and electric grill) brings you the afternoon sun and the Kalmberg sunset.
Look closely and every detail tells a musical story: a clarinet and oboe in the bedroom, a violin with bow on the wall, an antique zither by the window and a historical band photo above the dining table.
On the functional side, the Musician is one of a kind: two balconies — one for the morning sun, one for the evening. Plus it sits in the quiet Salzweg Hideaway annex (its own entrance, away from the main house) and is our most affordable apartment: from €130/night.
